Al Rosenblum is the Associate Pastor of Doctrinal Studies Bible Church (DSBC). Al was born in Huntsville, Al. in 1956 where he lived until the a ge of 26. In his hometown, Al came to know the Lord as his Savior and served as a deacon under Pastor Buddy Peake. In 1982 Al relocated to Birmingham and joined DSBC to begin his training for the ministry as a Pastor-Teacher.
Al's education includes a B.A. in counseling from Samford University in Birmingham and a M.A. in counseling from UAB in Birmingham. Al has also completed the course of study at the Biblical School of Theology in Birmingham where he learned to interpret the original Hebrew and Greek languages of the Bible.
Al began his ministry experience in 1987 by leading Bible study groups and small churches all over the Southeastern U.S. He also served as a professor in the School of Biblical Theology teaching Greek, Hermeneutics and Homiletics. After serving as the senior Pastor of Grace Bible Church, in Hot Springs, Arkansas from 1998-2003, Al and his family returned to Birmingham to pursue higher education and to serve as the Associate Pastor of DSBC. His duties include teaching, counseling and helping with the administration of the church’s ministries. Al's ministry focus is teaching and counseling Believers to help them overcome problem areas and successfully live the Christian Way of Life.
In 1998, Al married Rhonda Adema. They now have 4 children, Tricia, Zach, Gracie and Tena.
