The current nursing home ministry is an extension of the Crossroads ministry. Our goal with this ministry is two fold:

First, we desire to share the love of God to the elderly by simply spending time with them. Many of them have been removed from their own families for various reasons and they really appreciate the time we take to come and visit with them. We not only show God’s love by our actions but we also share God’s love to them through the message of the Gospel.

Second, the nursing home ministry is an opportunity to teach our Crossroads children how to simply minister to others. We encourage, sometimes reluctantly, the children to get involved and then we watch as both young and old are blessed by the experience. Their zeal for serving the Lord grows and carries over to their everyday life.

Please pray for this ministry, for guidance, patience, and laborers. Pray especially for the ability to communicate the Love of God and His Grace Gospel to these wonderful, but all to often, lonely souls.
