How many times do we have that conversation?
... you ready yet? "Just a minute."
Seems like we are constantly getting ready for something.
... ready now?? "Hold on ... just a second! Almost ready!"

R - RAPTURE ... in the blink of an eye! We must get ready!
Matthew 24:38-44 "For as in those days which were before the flood
they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not
understand until the flood came and took them all away, so shall the
coming of the Son of Man be. Then there shall be two men in the field;
one will be taken, and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at
the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left. Therefore be on the
alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure
of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the
night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord Himself will descend from

E - ETERNITY ... awaits us! We must get ready!
John 14:1-4 "Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God; believe
also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were
not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And
if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way
where I am going."
Philippians 3:20-21 "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which
also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will
transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of
His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all
things to Himself."
A - AWAKE or ASLEEP ... we do not know! We must get ready!
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 "Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren,
you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves
know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in
the night. While they are saying, 'Peace and safety!' then destruction
will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape. But you, brethren are not in darkness, that
the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light
and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us
not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober."
D - DEAL ... or no deal? ... ours for the choosing! We must get
ready!
John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have
eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the
world; but that the world should be saved through Him."
John 20:30-31 "Many other signs therefore Jesus also performed in the
presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these
have been written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."
Acts 4:8-12 "Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,

Y - YES! ... that's the correct answer! We must get ready!
