God has wonderful
promises regarding how His children live the Spiritual
Life on earth. God IS Spiritual and He wants His children
(You and Me) to live Spiritually.
1. Do you recall, from our last study WHO
God The Father sent, to enable you to live the Christian life? John
14:26 That's right, God the Holy Spirit. So now check out 1
Corinthians 6:19-20 and tell me where HE (God The Holy Spirit)
is right now.
There is a difference between
Being IN the Family of God
and being IN Fellowship with
Him. Can you see the difference?

What does God command you to do, in Galatians
5:16 so that you won't be able to fulfill the desires
of your flesh?
Before salvation, having been born
'in Adam', a person's life is under the complete control
of his 'sinful nature' (Romans
5:12). At the point of salvation, God The Holy Spirit
takes up residence inside your body and HE enables you
to have power over your nature to sin (1
Corinthians 6:19). Now, as a Believer when you fail
to, or decide not to access that God given power - and
commit sin, you grieve The Holy Spirit and even quench
His power. The Bible refers to this as being carnal or
fleshy. (Romans
8:5-7) (1
Corinthians 3:1-3).
4. When tempted to sin, what
does James
1:13-14 say that you're being carried away by?
5. But, if you do sin what is
God faithful to do if you get honest with Him? (1
John 1:9)
6. Again,
just for the sake of review, what is the one thing 'that
could never happen' that God has promised you in John
10:27-29?
In this lesson

living, or 'walking' in your Spiritual Life as a child of God, Ephesians
