John Dyer, born in Springfield Ma. has resided in Birmingham, AL since 1967 with his wife Lynne (of 41 yrs), three children and their six grandchildren. After being saved in Viet Nam on Oct. 18th, 1964 John was discharge from the USAF in 1965. After a couple of years in college in New York John and his wife and their then two children moved to B'ham, AL and jumped into the inner-city youth work along with Chuck Farmer.
In 1974, John along with several other believers gathered at the feet of Ron Adema, God's assigned Pastor-Teacher to began the spiritual exercise of growth in the Word of God and the daily application of that Truth. Sometime during that process John identified his Spiritual Gift as that of Administration through which God has enabled him to become an effective ambassador in and through the many outreach ministries of his church, Doctrinal Studies Bible Church of Birmingham, AL.
John has created this web site and as our team's webmaster has the responsibility of keeping you updated with reports and photos from the field throughout this mission.
